Join us for this annual free celebration of nature and the arts, hosted by the Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art! From 10am-4pm, there's something for everyone: live music, guided nature walks, bird box building workshops, bee-keeping exhibits, live-animal demonstrations, delicious local food and artisans, fish-print t-shirts, and more! At 1pm, you can step back in time and onto the historic Millersburg Ferry boat and enjoy an intimate, solo performance of original music with Sarah Fiore, lead singer, songwriter, and guitarist of Big Sky Quartet, named Best Female Artist of 2022 by the Central PA Music Hall of Fame.
Since 1994, the Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art has held its annual festival, which began as the “Ned Smith Tribute Festival.” Now, more than 25 years later, this event is still going strong, bringing free family-friendly, educational entertainment to thousands of people all over central Pennsylvania. Sarah's 1-hour performance will be held on the Millersburg Ferry boat, the oldest all-wooden double stern-wheel paddle boat operating in the United States and the last known operating on the mile-wide Susquehanna River.
